Old Country Buffet Pudding Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup flour
    3/4 cup sugar
    2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    3/4 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup cocoa
    1/2 cup milk
    2 tablespoons melted shortening
    1 teaspoon shortening
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 3/4 cups hot water
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, salt, milk, shortening, & vanilla.
    Blend until smooth.
    Pour cake mixture into ungreased 9\" square pan (use 9x13 if doubled).
    In small mixing bowl, mix brown sugar, cocoa & water. Pour over batter.
    Bake for 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees.
