Diabetic Bar-B-Q Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    1 tablespoon brown sugar (I use brown sugar substitute.)
    2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
    1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
    1/8 teaspoon red pepper
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Preparation
    Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes on low heat.
    Best if allowed to sit in the refrigerator overnight.
    Can be used immediately after preparing.
