Oatmeal Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, sliced
    1 cup mushroom, sliced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 cup rolled oats (I used instant)
    7 cups vegetable broth (or chicken broth)
    1 (16 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
    1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
    seasoning (of choice)
    1 cup low-fat milk
Preparation
    Saute onion, mushrooms& garlic in a bit of the broth, about 5 minutes.
    Stir in oats, broth, tomatoes& tomato sauce.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
    Season and stir in milk.
