Apple Cheese Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 ounce) container cream cheese, room temperature
    1 cup grated cheddar cheese, I like aged cheddar
    2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    1 granny smith apple, cored and peeled
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    1 teaspoon dried thyme or 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Preparation
    Combine the cream cheese, Cheddar & fresh lemon juice.
    Grate the apple directly into the cheese mixrture and mix well.Place in a bowl.
    Sprinkle on the pepper and herb.
    Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
    Serve with your choice of bagels, toast or crackers.
