Pear Honey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lbs ripe pears, peeled and cored
    1 cup diced pineapple or 1 cup crushed pineapple
    1 grated lemon, juice and rind of
    5 cups sugar
Preparation
    Run the pears through a food chopper using fine blades.
    Combine all ingredients.
    Cook on low heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture is thick and clear.
    Pack in hot jars and seal.
    Process in a water bath for 10 minutes.
