Azifa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup green lentil
    1 large jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
    1/4 cup finely chopped onion
    1 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/4 teaspoon turmeric
    3 tablespoons lime juice
    2 tablespoons olive oil
Preparation
    Boil lentils in water until soft, about 30 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water. Place in bowl and gently mash.
    Mix in the rest of the ingredients.
    Serve chunky or use food processor to make a paste.
