Chinese-Style Asparagus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lbs fresh asparagus
    1 teaspoon soy sauce
    1/2 teaspoon sugar
    1/2 cup water
Preparation
    Cut asparagus into 1 1/2-inch lengths.
    Boil water, soy sauce and sugar in a large saute pan over high heat.
    Add asparagus and reduce heat to low.
    Simmer until tender-crisp (about 5 minutes).
    Serve.
