Paradise*S Sensual Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

Nuts
1/2 cup pecans
2 teaspoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 pinch salt
1/4 teaspoon jalapeno, grated
Dressing
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons nonfat yogurt
1 garlic clove, chopped
Salad
1 head romaine lettuce, about 5 cups washed and broken into bite size pieces
1 granny smith apple, peeled and sliced thin
1/4 red onion (5 paper thin slices)
1 ounce feta cheese, crumbled (blue or fresh sliced parmesan cheese)
1 tablespoon golden raisins (Adams Choice lol!) or 1 tablespoon fresh fig, quartered (Adams Choice lol!)
Preparation

Nut:
Coat pecan with melted butter; combine sugar, salt and minced jalapeno; sprinkle over pecans, tossing to coat. Spread on a baking sheet; bake at 325 degrees F for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool.
Dressing:
Whisk all ingredients together till thick and creamy.
Salad:
In a large bowl combine greens, apple and onion slices; toss to coat with 2 tablespoons of dressing.
Place in a serving bowl, top with cheese, raisins or figs and pecans. Pour remaining dressing on top. Serve immediately.
