Brenda'S Bean Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 1/2 ounce) can refried beans
    8 ounces sour cream
    1 (1 ounce) envelope onion soup mix
    1 small onion, diced
    1 tablespoon chili powder
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1 lb cheddar cheese, grated and divided
Preparation
    Mix sour cream and onion soup mix.
    Mix together all ingredients and 1/2 of cheese.
    Put inot a medium baking dish that can be covered.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Uncover and put the remaining cheese on top and bake for an additional 10 - 15 minutes.
