Homemade Grenadine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup pomegranate juice
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
Preparation
    Bring pomegranate juice and sugar to a boil over moderate heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
    Simmer until reduced to about 1/2 cup, about 10 minutes.
    Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice.
    Cool to room temperature.
