Pioneer Rich Mushroom Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 5/8 ounce) package gravy mix (Pioneer Brown Gravy Mix preferred)
    2 cups water
    8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
    1/4 lb butter or 1/4 lb margarine
    2 tablespoons red wine (Burgundy, Merlot or Cabernet are all just fine)
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Preparation
    Saute mushrooms in butter.
    Mix gravy powder to water; heat and stir until thickened.
    Add all ingredients together and heat until fully incorporated and heated through.
