Ginger Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup sliced onion
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    1/4 cup white vinegar
    1/4 cup soy sauce
    2 teaspoons sugar
    2 tablespoons chopped gingerroot (I use ginger paste)
    1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients into a blender.
    Blend on low for 1 minute, then high for 30 seconds.
    Add additional salt or pepper to taste.
    Chill.
    Stir before serving on salad.
