New York System'S Hot Wiener Sauce (Copycat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb ground beef
    1/4 cup oil
    1/4 cup finely chopped onion
    1 teaspoon salt
    4 teaspoons chili powder
    1 teaspoon celery salt
    3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    3/4 teaspoon marjoram
    3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
    1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
    1/2 teaspoon thyme
    1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 quart water
Preparation
    Brown ground beef, drain grease.
    Add to kettle with remaining ingredients. Simmer all for 2 hours without covering.
