Creamed Pearl Onions - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cups white pearl onions, drained
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
3/4 cup milk
pepper
1 dash nutmeg
Preparation

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add flour and stir until well blended.
Add milk gradually.
Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture has thickened.
Drain onions and add to sauce.
Season with pepper and nutmeg.
Serve hot.
