Old Fashioned Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup sugar
    4 egg yolks
    2 tablespoons flour
    2 cups milk
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 (12 ounce) package vanilla wafers
    3 large ripe bananas, sliced
    8 ounces whipped topping
Preparation
    Mix together the sugar, egg yolks, flour and milk. Sitr over medium heat until boiling. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
    Layer the bottom of a 2-quart dish with half of the vanilla wafers.
    Top with half of the sliced bananas.
    Pour half of the pudding over top.
    Repeat layers: vanilla wafers, bananas, then pudding.
    Refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve topped with whipped topping.
