Alabama Catfish Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 teaspoons butter, melted
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can tomatoes, diced
1 cup potato, diced
1 1/4 cups catsup
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 bay leaf
1 lb catfish fillet, 1-inch pieces
Preparation

Saute onion in butter in a large saucepan until transparent.
Add tomatoes and next 6 ingredients to saucepan.
Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Gently stir in fish; continue to simmer 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Remove bay leaf before serving.
