Apple Pie Filling Ii - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 cup Clear Jel
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup Karo syrup
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon butter
allspice (optional)
nutmeg (optional)
2 -3 cups apples, sliced
2 pie crusts
Preparation

Boil sugar and water.
Add salt, lemon juice, and Clear Jell dissolved in 1/2 cup water.
Cook until thickened, then add remaining ingredients.
This is enough filling for 1 pie.
Put one crust in a 9 inch pie pan add filling, top with second crust and seal edges.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour. or until done.
