Sauteed Red Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 tablespoons unsalted butter
    6 cups thinly sliced red cabbage
    3 -4 tablespoons pure maple syrup
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
    Add cabbage, cover, and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, 30 to 35 minutes.
    Add maple syrup, and cook for 5 minutes.
    Season with salt and pepper.
