Ingredients

1 1/2 cups buckwheat flour
1 1/2 cups flour (I use whole wheat)
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons sugar
6 eggs
3 cups buttermilk
1 cup melted and cooled butter
Preparation

Pre heat waffle iron.
Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Beat eggs, buttermilk, and butter till well combined.
Add to the dry ingredients just till blended.
Cook in a pan sprayed waffle iron till crisp and brown.
Serve w/ warm maple syrup and fresh strawberries.
