Ingredients

15 ounces garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
7 1/2 ounces canned black beans, rinsed and drained
2 tomatoes, seeded and chopped
2/3 cup chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
Preparation

combine all ingredients in a medium bowl.
let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.
