Comfort Food Baked Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/4 cup sugar
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 1/2 cups milk
    1 dash nutmeg
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350*.
    In large bowl, combine eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla; blend well.
    Gradually stir in milk.
    Pour into 6 ungreased 6-oz.
    custard cups.
    (If desired, pour mixture into 1 qt. casserole dish.) Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Place custard cups in 13x9 inch pan.
    Pour boiling water into pan around custard cups to a depth of 1 inch.
    Bake at 350* for 45 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
    Serve warm or cold.
    Store in refrigerator.
