Ingredients

1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup half-and-half cream
3 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Put all ingredients except vanilla into saucepan.
Whisk thoroughly and slowly bring to a boil.
Simmer 10 minutes, stirring periodically.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
