Coffee Shoofly Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 prepared baked pie crust
1 cup flour
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup chilled butter, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 cup hot water
1/2 teaspoon instant espresso powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup mild molasses
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 dash salt
1 dash cinnamon
powdered sugar, for topping
Preparation

preheat oven to 350.
in a large bowl mix flour and sugar.
cut in butter until blended and crumbly.
mix expresso with hot water in a medium bowl.
add in baking soda, corn syrup, vanilla, salt, cinnamon.
pour crumb mixture into crust.
pour in liquid mixture, bake 35 minutes until set in center.
cool on wire rack.
sprinkle with powdered sugar.
