Smothered Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
    1/4 cup green pepper, finely chopped
    1/4 cup celery, thinly sliced
    1 1/2 lbs chicken thighs or 1 1/2 lbs chicken breasts, bone-in
    1 package dry mushroom gravy mix
    1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
Preparation
    Heat oil; add onion, green pepper, and celery.
    Saute for 2 minutes.
    Add chicken; cook 7 minutes per side, until browned.
    Combine gravy mix and milk.
    Stir into chicken.
    Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
