Cherry Nut Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
    1 cup butter, Softened
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/2 cup maraschino cherry, drained and chopped
    3/4 cup sweetened flaked coconut
    2 cups quick-cooking oats
    nuts, finely ground
Preparation
    Mix together all ingredients except nuts. Refrigerate for two hours.
    Shape into 1-inch balls and roll each in ground nuts.
    Serve immediately or cover and keep in refrigerator until ready to eat.
