Chocolate Potato Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
1 cup butter or 1 cup shortening
1 cup mashed potatoes
1/4 cup cocoa
4 eggs
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon clove
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups flour

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 Deg.
In a large mixing bowl, blend butter and sugar. Add potatoes and cocoa.
Add eggs and milk.
Mix together flour, BP,spices and add to other ingredients.
Pour into a greased 13 X 9 inch pan.
Bake at 350 deg. for 1 hour.
When cooled, top with your choice of frosting.
