Cajun Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
3/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup light molasses
3/4 cup butter, melted
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup boiling water
1 cup pecans, chopped
Preparation

Beat eggs, brown sugar, molasses and melted butter together.
Mix together dry ingredients and add with the boiling water to first mixture.
Beat well, then pour into a well greased 13x9x2 inch baking pan.
Bake in preheated oven at 350F for 35 minutes.
