Sarah'S Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 cups shortening
    2 cups sugar
    4 eggs
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 teaspoon allspice
    1/2 cup pecans
    2 cups flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
    3 cups grated carrots
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar together.
    Add eggs then dry ingredients.
    Stir in pecans and carrots.
    Place in a greased 9x13 inch pan.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
    When cool frost with a cream cheese frosting.
