Miss Caroline'S Southern Coconut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup butter
    1 cup sugar
    3 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    6 tablespoons buttermilk
    1 cup coconut
    1 deep dish pie shell
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except for crust.
    Pour mixture into crust.
    Bake in a 350 degree oven for 50 minutes, checking towards end to prevent burning.
