Oatmeal 'Bastard' Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup vegetable shortening
    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    3/4 cup brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    3 tablespoons water
    1 1/2 cups flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    3 cups old-fashioned oatmeal
    1/2 cup red cinnamon candies
Preparation
    Preheat your oven to 350\u00b0F
    Grease some of your cookie sheets.
    Cream shortening and sugars in a bowl.
    Add eggs, vanilla, water to the mixture. Beat until *fluffy*.
    Mix flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon in *another* bowl. Add to first mixture *a little at a time* until a dough is formed.
    Mix in your oatmeal and candy.
    Spoon onto your cookie sheets. Flatten cookies *slightly*.
    Bake for 10-12 minutes or until *lightly browned* all over. Don't forget to turn off your oven.
