Baked Apple Pancake - cooking recipe

Apple Filling
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups apples, sliced
Batter
2 eggs, separated
2 2/3 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
2 2/3 tablespoons milk
1 dash salt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit.
Prepare an 8\"x8\" pan with cooking spray.
Melt butter and lightly saute sugar, cinnamon and apples for 5 minutes. Spoon apples into baking pan.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Set aside.
Beat flour, baking powder, milk, salt, and egg yolks until smooth.
Fold egg whites and batter together.
Pour batter over apple slices.
Bake at 400 degrees fahrenheit for about 10 to 12 minutes or until pancake is done.
Serve immediately with maple syrup.
