Five Spice Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 teaspoon sesame oil
    3/4 cup carrot, diced
    1/2 cup onion, diced
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans chicken broth
    1/2 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    1 1/4 cups long-grain rice, uncooked
Preparation
    Heat oil in pan and add onion, carrot, and garlic; saute until tender.
    Add broth, Chinese five-spice, salt and pepper, bring to a boil.
    Stir in rice and return to boil.
    Cover; reduce heat and cook 20 minutes.
