Green Beans With Bacon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 lb green beans, rinsed and trimmed
    2 -3 sprigs savory, rinsed and patted dry
    8 slices lean bacon
    3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine
Preparation
    Fill a medium saucepan with water and add salt.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add the beans and savory and return to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
    Drain beans and remove savory sprigs.
    Divide beans into 8 portions.
    Wrap each portion in a slice of bacon, and secure with a toothpick.
    Melt butter in a medium skillet; fry the bean bundles on all sides for about 3 minutes.
