Almond Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 Ritz crackers or 20 jatz crackers
    1 cup caster sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 cup sliced almonds
    3 egg whites
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 180c. Grease pie dish.
    Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar and vanilla, beat again for 30 seconds.
    Fold in crushed biscuits & nuts.
    Pour into pie dish and bake for 20 - 30 minutes.
    Decorate with whipped cream, fruit or more nuts.
