Ingredients

1/2 cup sugar
4 egg whites
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated low-fat milk
2 tablespoons instant coffee
2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cup half-and-half
Preparation

Combine sugar and egg whites and mix thoroughly.
Add milk and thicken over medium heat.
Stir in coffee to dissolve.
Cool.
Add vanilla, and half and half.
Process according to your ice cream machine's instructions.
