Caramel Cuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup butter
    2 cups brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 cups flour
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325F . Grease an 8 by 8-inch pan.
    Melt butter, add brown sugar and blend.
    Add eggs, vanilla, dry ingredients and nuts.
    Pour into greased pan and bake for 40 minutes.
