Banana Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

1 cup all-bran cereal
1 cup banana, mashed
2/3 cup milk
1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine bran cereal, bananas, and milk in a large bowl, stirring well; let stand 5 minutes.
Add sugar, oil, egg, and vanilla; mix well.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into bran mixture just until combined.
Spoon batter into a paper-lined muffin pan.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
