Lime Butter Basted Shrimp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 -12 shrimp, frozen, uncooked, thawed and peeled (1 package)
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 lime
1/2 teaspoon honey or 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce or 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Preheat barbecue to hight heat and lightly oil grill. Pat shrimp dry using a paper towel.
Finely grate lime, measure 1 teaspoons zest; stir into melted butter. Halve the lime and squeeze 1 tablespoons juice into buter mixture along with honey, hot sauce and garlic. Divide mixture in half.
Toss shrimp with half the butter mixture and pepper. Grill until shrimp are firm and opaque, about 2 minutes per side. Brush with remaining butter mixture before serving.
