Cornmeal Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons shortening
1 egg
1/4 cup cold water
Preparation

Combine cornmeal, flour and 1 tsp salt in a bowl.
Cut in shortening.
In a separate bowl, beat together egg and 1/4 cup water.
Add to cornmeal mixture.
Press into 9 inch pie plate to form crust.
Use in place of regular pie crust.
