Spiced Buttercup Squash Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 buttercup squash, about 3 lb
    1 small onion, minced
    1 tablespoon tomato paste
    1/2 cup milk
    3 1/2 cups chicken stock
    1/8 teaspoon allspice
    1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
    1/4 teaspoon ginger
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Cut squash into chunks. In water, boil squash and onion about 25 minutes.
    Transfer to a blender and blend until smooth.
    Put back on stove and add rest of ingredients. Simmer until heated through.
