Orange-Pineapple Cottage Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 ounces low-fat small-curd cottage cheese
    4 ounces orange Jell-O
    16 ounces crushed pineapple, drained
    8 ounces mandarin oranges, drained
    16 ounces fat-free cool whip
    1/4 cup crushed pecans (optional) or 1/4 cup walnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix together cottage cheese and dry Jello.
    Add pineapple, mandarin oranges, and nuts.
    Fold in Cool Whip and chill until served.
