Easy Apple Dump Cake - From Scratch - cooking recipe

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
2 eggs (I use extra large)
1/2 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
frosting
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons milk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
Dump flour, sugar, eggs, 1/2 cup butter, salt, baking soda, cinnmon, 1 teaspoon vanilla, chopped nuts and apple pie filling in a bowl.
Stir.
Pour batter in prepared pan.
bake 50 min to 1 hour or until done.
Frosting.
Mix cream cheese and butter together until will blended.
Gradually add confectioners sugar, milk and vanilla.
Spread on cake when cake is cooled.
