Black Bean Hummus Adapted From Penguin Drive-In - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    15 1/2 ounces garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
    15 1/2 ounces black beans, rinsed and drained
    2/3 cup olive oil and canola oil (equal parts olive and canola)
    1/3 cup water
    1 tablespoon tahini
    2 garlic cloves, small, chopped
    4 teaspoons chili powder
    1 1/2 limes, juiced (or to taste)
    1 1/4 teaspoons kosher salt, plus more to taste
    1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    1 pinch ground coriander
    1 pinch ground cinnamon
    1 pinch ground cumin
    pita chips, for serving
Preparation
    Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
    Puree the hummus mixture, in batches if needed, in a food processor until very smooth.
    Taste and season with salt.
    Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl and serve with pita chips.
