Apple Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tablespoon butter
    1/8 cup chopped onion
    1/4 cup chopped granny smith apple
    2 cups apple juice
    2 cups uncooked rice
    1 cup chicken broth
    1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
    1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation
    Saute onions and apple in butter until tender. Add apple juice and bring to a boil.
    Add rice, salt, and thyme and simmer on low for 15 minutes or until almost done. Add broth and simmer until absorbed.
