Quick Crescent Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
    1/2 cup pecans, chopped
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 cup corn syrup
    1 tablespoon margarine or 1 tablespoon butter, melted
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375 degrees.
    Unroll dough into 2 long rectangles.
    Place in ungreased 13x9\" pan; press over bottom and 1/2\" up sides to form crust.
    Firmly press performations to seal.
    Bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes.
    Meanwhile, in medium bowl combine all filling ingredients. Pour over partially baked crust.
    Return to oven and bake for an additional 18-22 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cool completely; cut into bars.
