Rhubarb Steak Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 cups chopped rhubarb
    3 cups diced onions
    2 cups white vinegar
    2 1/2 cups brown sugar
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 teaspoon allspice
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce to low heat and let simmer until well thickened.
    Let cool and refrigerate.
