Buttermilk Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 cup buttermilk
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation
    Combine buttermilk, baking soda, and baking powder stir until mixture foams.
    Add salt and beaten egg-mix well.
    Stir in enough flour to make a soft but firm dough.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls into simmering broth.
    Cover and simmer gently for 15 minutes.
