Crockpot Spaghetti Sauce With Fresh Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 onions, chopped
    4 garlic cloves, minced
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 cup oil
    16 cups fresh roma tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    2 tablespoons oregano
    2 tablespoons basil
    1/4 cup parsley, chopped
    1/4 cup sugar
    2 tablespoons salt
    3/4 tablespoon black pepper
    6 ounces tomato paste
Preparation
    Saute the onion, garlic, green pepper, and oil. Cook until onion is transparent.
    Add the chopped tomatoes, oregano, basil, parsley, sugar, salt, and ground pepper.
    Cook on low heat for 2 to 3 hours. Stir frequently.
    Let sauce cool. Pour into quart size freezer containers. Store in freezer.
    When ready to use, stir in can of tomato paste.
