Lady Alice Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    200 g plain flour
    200 g butter
    70 g custard powder
    70 g icing sugar
    1 tablespoon vanilla essence
Preparation
    Knead all ingredients together with one hand, until dough is completely smooth and even.
    Roll into teaspoon-sized balls and lay out on a baking tray, before pressing down from the top on each biscuit with a fork.
    Cook in a moderate over for 15-20 minutes, until golden on top.
