Tuscan Chicken With Sage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    2 onions, finely chopped
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1/2 teaspoon sea salt
    1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
    1/2 cup fresh sage leaf
    2 cups chianti wine
    3 lbs chicken thighs (bone in)
Preparation
    In a skillet, heat oil over medium. Add onions and cook, stirring, until softened.
    Add garlic, salt, pepper and sage. Cook for 1 minute.
    Add wine and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until sauce is reduced by 1/3, about 5 minutes.
    Arrange chicken over bottom of slow cooker and cover with sauce. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
